Story
As some of you may know we've had a hellish few months as Dad's lymphoma raised its bloody horrific head yet again. There have been numerous spells in hospital culminating in Dad going through stem cell transplant - felt like we reached rock bottom on many of those 22 days but throughout the nurses and doctors have been brilliant - keeping their humour in the face of anger, suffering and tears, picking us all up and setting us back on our feet numerous times and then waving us home with a huge smile.
I'm not a natural runner but it's helped me cope over the last 6 months, so I've decided to run a 10k to raise money for the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital charity fund campaign for the cancer care centre as I really want to give something back.
So thank you to all of the staff on the Mulbarton and Weybourne wards, and to Dad for keeping putting one foot in front of another each day - this one's for you!
