We have the absolute privilege to work along side these amazing people every working day. We see behind the scenes and the difficult tasks they deal with day in day out. We also get to see the impact they make to individuals lives by bringing critical care and basically the hospital to the roadside. Without the amazing fundraising people do TVAA would simply not be able to operate as we solely rely on you guys to help us along the way. Me and Alex have decided to throw ourselves in the deep end and complete our first half marathon for this amazing charity because its nothing compared to the amazing work they do everyday and the situations they deal with. The differences they make to patients lives at critical times and the stories you hear are simply amazing and I couldn't be anymore prouder to work for this amazing charity. Every little helps and goes a long way! 

Unlike the average land ambulance, the helicopter and our emergency response vehicles are manned by a paramedic and doctor team. With a doctor onboard, we can bring the skills and expertise of a hospital to the scene of an incident. Our pilots, paramedics and doctors work together as a team, along with other emergency services to deliver the best care for patients.Our crew aim to be the best they can be, and continuously train and develop their skills and expertise. Each crew member spends time in realistic practice scenarios, so they are ready for any eventuality.All of this means our advanced doctor and paramedic team can perform critical medical procedures prior to the patient arriving at hospital. Our crew can relieve pain, straighten broken limbs, and deliver emergency anaesthesia among a long list of vital medical care.
