Story

Doctor Who fans and cast alongside friends from West Yorkshire are proud to present 'Jodie! Don't Panic!' - an “out of this world” and heart-warming Coldplay cover video celebrating Jodie Whittaker's time as the Thirteenth Doctor in aid of AKT.

Organised by Welsh Music Prize nominated musician and life long Doctor Who fan Jo Whitby, 'The Whovian Ensemble' is a collective of professional and amateur musicians from across the world who all share a passion for Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor. Seylan Baxter, who played the Doctor's adoptive mother 'Tecteun' in 'The Timeless Children', performs on the cello.

Not only that, the video also features fans and friends dancing, singing along and holding up messages for the actor. Lots of effort and love went into all the contributions and it really shows.

About AKT:

Lots of young people come out as LGBTQ+ to their families and are embraced and supported. But that’s not always the case. Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+ can lead to young people being made homeless. This is the reality for 77% of the young people akt supports. Sometimes families are unaccepting and abusive. The locks changed. Possessions destroyed. akt exists to support these young people and can offer safety and hope in an open and accepting environment. We help with housing and also to help them celebrate their identity.
