Story
💜 Abby’s heroes have supported us whilst staying in hospital with Olivia and we still have support through them whilst visiting the hospital and on the other end of the phone , so I want to be able to raise money for this charity for them to be able to help other families going through tough times.
💜 Me , my sisters and a few others ( and any one else who would like to participate) will be taking part in the inflatable 5k run and raising money for Abby’s heroes - this is a charity organisation to help and support children & their families under the care of the Piam Brown Cancer ward.
🧡 As many of you may know Olivia was diagnosed with ALL - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in November.
🧡 “Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is rare, with around 790 people diagnosed with the condition each year in the UK. Most cases of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia develop in children, teenagers and young adults.
🧡 Although it is rare, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is the most common type of leukaemia that affects children. About 85% of the cases that affect children happen in those younger than 15 (mostly between the ages of 0 and 5). It affects slightly more boys than girls”
