The Challenge

Being a Yorkshire lass, a team of friends and I have decided to challenge ourselves by scaling 3 of the highest peaks in Yorkshire over a challenging 25 mile circular, which we are racing to complete in 12 hours.  The 3 peaks Yorkshire Challenge, as it is aptly named, includes the peaks of Whernside (728m), Ingleborough (723m) & Pen-Y-Ghent (691m).

I am hoping to raise money for a charity I have supported for the past year: Action for Children.  It is a UK registered children's charity that has been supporting vulnerable & neglected children & young people in the UK for over 140 years.

Childhood is such an important part of our lives and Action for Children works to ensure that children who are underprivileged, neglected, vulnerable or disabled are given the support and love they need to have a nurturing and happy childhood, which every child deserves.
