Bears of Sheffield set to transform new Cancer and Leukaemia Ward at Sheffield Children’s, with work now underway.
Patients at Sheffield Children’s will soon have a bigger brighter space for their treatment for cancer, leukaemia and blood disorders, as work gets underway to transform their ward.
The ward is being funded through generous donations to The Children’s Hospital Charity, who have until November to fully fund the project and the Bears of Sheffield will play a key part in reaching the final £2.75M target.
To allow work to get underway, the existing ward moved into a new space in the hospital last month – from Ward 6 to Ward 7.
Nationwide have a BEAR on the trail and would love to be able to raise £5000 towards the amazing work the Sheffield Children's Hospital do and continue to do on a daily basis.
Colleagues and customers from around South Yorkshire will be helping to raise the funds! We understand children who become ill, outside of Sheffield also rely on The Children's Hospital.
