7 months ago we all woke up to the worst news ever of Elly having had a stroke. Elly is now 20 and when this happened she was only 19, she is one of the nicest, genuine, caring, loving and funniest girls we know and we have had the pleasure of growing up with her our whole life. Her and her family aren’t just our friends, they are our family❤️
In these past 7 months Elly has made so many improvements however she still has a long road ahead with recovery. Elly has had a very serious and life threatening operation which has saved her life and now has a weekly rota of physiotherapy, speech therapy etc. She does not complain about anything and just continues to go forward and progress. Everyone is so amazed and proud to see how much she has improved and overcome in such a short space of time and it is overwhelming to watch. as family and friends we can’t thank all the amazing staff at walton hospital, whiston hospital & the Outstanding support St Helens rehabilitation hospital for their constant and continued support Elly is receiving still now. Seeing all this first hand stroke association need our support to raise funds to help survivors and their families 💙
We are so so proud of you Elly and appreciate you so much. So determined, strong and we love you so much xx
