Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 19th March 2017 I'll be taking part in a 3 hour Boxericise class to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action.

Ovarian cancer isn’t as well known as other female cancers, like breast and cervical cancer, but it’s more common than cervical cancer and claims more lives. It’s currently the UK’s most deadly gynaecological disease, with over 7,000 cases diagnosed every year.

Through lack of awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer it can take a long time for a woman to be diagnosed with the disease. This means that by the time of diagnosis their ovarian cancer has progressed quite far, making it harder to treat.

So please support me in raising money for this fantastic cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
