Story
Why am i running the London Marathon?!
Because of a beautiful little girl called Ava-Grace, Ava-Grace was diagnosed with a rare brain condition called Leukodystrophy, for anybody that may not know about this condition, there is no cure. Which as you can imagine is absolutely heartbreaking. To give you an insight to how severe this condition is, 2 years ago Ava-Grace was walking and talking. She is now approaching her 4th birthday, she doesnt have any control over any muscles, unable to hold herself up, currently feeds through a peg and has lost her sight
Ever since the diagnosis, a childrens charity called Claire House have been involved. They are a local chairty who support seriously and terminally ill children. They have undoubtidly gone above and beyond for Ava-Grace and her family, and will continue to do so for the rest of her life creating lots of special memories and bringing a sense of normalilty back to life. They provide a 24/7 emergency service support, fun days, craft days, music days, physiotherapy, mental health support, the list is endless....
Claire House first opened their doors in 1998 and were working with 10 families, now in 2019 they support over 400 families, without volunteers, supporters and fundrasing, Claire House unfortunetly wouldnt function. Their referrals have risen dramatically over the years and they urgently need our support to help they continue and grow
I completely understand that people dont have much pennies because everything in life costs a bomb but if you do happen to have a spare £1 to help me raise my target i will be more than grateful, as would Claire House, the children and their families 💙
