We fund research & raise awareness to support the families affected by Mito

Story

This page is to raise money for the lily foundation, a charity that's supports the fight against Mitochondrial disease.

I am going to go unshaven from the 1st November until Christmas I will be referring to this as novembeard so not quite the "normal" movember. For those of you who know me, know this will be tough considering I'm used to shaving more less daily and some would say I'm vain haha.

I'm going to be raising money in memory of my Niece's little son who we sadly lost on the 21st January this year, Kian was just 5 and a half months old when we lost him to mitochondrial disease. Kian was such a perfect happy little boy and lead a perfectly normally life until he suddenly become very ill ending up in bristol children's hospital and just three days later ended up on life support this was when the family first heard of the words mitochondrial disease and there life's we're turned upside down. They was told there was nothing more they could do for there little baby.

There's currently no cure for mitochondrial disease and very little treatment. The lily foundation are committed to finding a cure for mitochondrial disease through funding research and raising awareness.

So please help us by donating as little or as much as you can. Together we can make a difference.
