Story

On the 11th of July this year I turn 40 years old. With our Wedding being postponed this year and all work being postponed I am not feeling in the party mood.

So I have decided that instead of planning a Party that I might need to cancel anyway, I am going to do a challenge.

The Challenge I want to do is run 40 miles, I have never ran this distance before.

I will be doing this to support the charity that helped me and my family in the hardest time of our life’s, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital.

My future husband John will be doing this with me and if anyone wants to join us for some of the distance and show your support then you are more than welcome, Cake and Prosecco at the finish line 🥳.

The date we have chosen for our Challenge is Friday the 3rd of July, the date we should have been getting married.

The route we are taking is from our house in Falkirk to Rosyth and back again, just over 20 miles each way.

I am hoping to raise over £400 for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital

We will also be running past our Wedding Location, it’s going to be a strange day but instead of feeling sorry for ourselves we thought we would try and do some good instead.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated
