Over the last few years cancer has been on a bit of a rampage through my family. Two lost, one won, another is winning. And just when you think it's calming down for a while back it comes - and this time it's hitting even closer.
What's been reassuring is the difference in diagnosis and treatment - and that's why I'm running, without supporting the researchers, we won't beat cancer. As a full time mum married to a teacher, my impact is clearly not going to be financial, but I can bully cajole others into sponsoring me.
