JPU's Birthday Fundraiser in Honor of Joaquin Phoenix
Fundraising for Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries
Story
This year for Joaquin's birthday we have decided to set up a fundraising event for Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries. As Joaquin cares deeply for animals and activism, we feel enlightened to choose Goodheart for this year's birthday fundraiser. We visited the sanctuary earlier in 2021 for an open day and fell in love with the animals and volunteers. The animals have space to roam and graze in luxurious grass and woodlands, all whilst being rescued and living the natural sentient life they deserve to be living in.
Goodheart Animal Sanctuaries believe all sentient creatures deserve our respect & compassion. That's why we are dedicated to providing relief from cruelty and suffering for rescued animals. We raise awareness of the plight of farmed animals and working dogs through education, outreach & campaigning.
They have rescued farm animals such as alpacas, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, horses and geese. Joaquin Phoenix Updates was created in 2019, following the success and engagement of Joaquin through his acting and activism for veganism and animals. Over the last few years we have grown with Joaquin as he has continued his extraordinary career as an actor, producer and activist. We are continuously supporting him through his work and more exciting projects and possibilities. We have been lucky enough to work alongside activist groups to promote his activism. Our aim is to support Joaquin to the fullest each and every day by bringing fans the most up to date and concise news about him.
