Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's that time of year again for me to raise some money in memory of my best friend Ju. This year I am excited to say I am running the Virgin London Marathon on the 26th April! I have watched this race every year on the television since I was tiny and I can't quite believe that this year I will actually run it!!

As most of you know we lost Ju on the 22nd February 2011 at the age of 42 after a very brave fight against Melanoma. She married her boyfriend who she loved dearly, only hours before she passed, in the hospital in Brighton. I'm pleased to say she died after carrying out her lifetimes dream.

While she was ill she visited St Catherine's Hospice with the view to going there when the time was right, unfortunately she didn't even make it there.

When she died she asked that her 3 charities were supported in her memory, they were Cancer Research, Macmillan and St Catherine's Hospice.

So far I have raised £3074 for Cancer Research and Macmillan and this year I would like to raise some for St Catherine's. Myself and my long time friend Emma Gilbert are aiming to raise £1750 between us and would be very grateful for any donation no matter how small.

Thank you as always for your on going support.

WISH ME LUCK!!!
