IF YOU GO DOWN TO THE WOODS TODAY…
You might notice there’s less wildlife than there used to be. I was astounded to hear that it's because half of all UK species are in decline – we’re losing our precious red squirrels, hedgehogs and birds at an alarming rate.
Just this morning, we had a pair of beautiful Goldfinches visit our garden to feed on the bugs living in last summer's Calendula plants (that I have left in the garden over winter for this reason!). We also had a Blackcap visit too, and it's the first time I've seen either of these birds in my life! I also don't want it to be the last...
That's why I'm taking part in The Big Winter Wander this year, to reconnect with wildlife and raise much needed funds to help support WWF to campaign for the protection of our wildlife and environment, both in the UK and around the world. Follow me Instagram (@joannemoorewellness) for updates on the day (Sun 28th Feb) about how we get on!
If we act now, we can protect our health and the health of our planet.
Please donate as much as you can to this special cause, whether it's the price of a cup of coffee or a more substantial amount, it is REALLY appreciated, and you can relax in the knowledge that you'll be making a difference in the fight to restore our wildlife and environment.
My target is £500.00, but ideally I'd love to double that at least if I can!
Your donations will support WWF’s vital work both in the UK around the world, while match funds from the UK Government will go towards our Land for Life appeal.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks SO MUCH for your support, it really means a lot. Please follow me on Instagram too, for updates on February 28th of my walk and what wildlife we discover! @joannemoorewellness
