Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's that time of year again, to raise some money in memory of my best friend Juliet who we lost in February 2011 at the young age of 42. For those of you that don't know she died of skin cancer after a six month battle.
One of Ju's wishes was that two chosen charities should be helped so that other people wouldn't have to go through what she had to. One was Cancer Research the other Macmillan.
In 2013 I ran my first marathon and raised over £2000 for Cancer Research so this year I have decided to run two marathons in three weeks to help Macmillan. I will be running the Windsor Half Marathon on the 27th September and The Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 12th October. My intention was to run The London Marathon but did not get a place! AGAIN!! Maybe next year!!
I know we all donate to various charities but I would really like to keep Ju's memory alive by doing what she wanted and that's helping others! She was the best friend anyone could have wished for and I miss her desperately every day.
Thankyou for taking the time to read my story and donating. Ju would be so grateful and I think (hope) very proud .
