Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Our memories are so precious and is awful to see loved one lose theirs.  Both my grandads had dementia although of varying degree.  It affects the family and to see a loved one fade away in life is painful.

This will be one, if not, my biggest challenge, especially given I hate hills!! I would much prefer to cycle miles further to go around rather than over them.  The furthest I have cycled if 55miles after which I did not think 'You know, I am going to do that all over again so this will be tough!!

However, that struggle is worthwhile if I can help others and allow grand children to enjoy and remember their grandparents as they always were.

Thank you for your time and support
