In memory of our lovely, brave and beautiful Mum and Granny and in recognition and support of the remarkable work of Macmillan nurses, my (much younger, fitter and longer legged) daughter Anna and I are taking part in the Jane Tomlinson Run for All Leeds 10k.

We're not as prepared as we would have liked to be, but we are going to give it our best shot.
