Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Since creating this page I been humbled by the support I've received from so many people and just want to thank you for even reading this.

It's Jo here, also known as Elf from Greenbelt Festival Nights and MommaP.

Since having covid in 2020 -  I've  struggled with my physical and mental health like many people in the UK. Tearing my gastrocnemius calf muscle hasn't helped but its not stopping me! Being menopausal is also interesting to say the least....

This year I've made a real effort to regain my fitness and wellbeing and have committed to running the Great Manchester Run on May 22nd. I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic last autumn ( family history) and am focusing on becoming a healthier person.

Proud to be part of #teamnspcc and also #teampitchford as I'm being supported by my youngest daughter Ruth ❤ who will be alongside me on the day.

Anybody who knows me knows I'm not a runner but I'm not a quitter.
