We provide end of life care and support to patients and families in Wakefield

Story

The Twinnies have decided to raise money for Wakefield Hospice again this year. We raised over £1,300 last year and we would love to repeat it again. So what are we doing? We're walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks!

Many of you will know that mum battled against pancreatic cancer for two years, she stayed strong and determined for many many months, until the time came that she could fight no more.

Mum needed a safe place for palative care, a warm heart to help her through the bad times, laughter and smiles to remember the good.

This is where Wakefield Hospice came to help. We would like to thank every single person that was involved in mums care, they kept her dignity and pride until the very end. We said goodbye with peace and love - that is something that we will never ever forget.

So please support us in any way you can by giving a donation to help the hospice, large or small, pennies or pounds, anything will be greatly received.

We are so thankful to everyone that supported us and gave generously in 2014.
