This year I am challenging myself both physically and mentally to the limit in memory of my beautiful son Owen.

Owen died suddenly after being diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia aged just 11.

Owen was treated at Alder Hey Children's Hospital so my aim is to raise vital funds for them. The care, compassion and respect staff gave Owen and our family was outstanding.

Owens passion and zest for life still shines on, he was kind, caring, adventurous and fearless.  With this in mind and Owens spirit by my side my challenge begins with...

10k run, Santa Dash, Liverpool half marathon, Snowdon, Ben Nevis, Horseshoe pass and finally the Inca trek in Peru!

The Inca trek in Peru is something me and Owen wanted to do when he was older.  Owen loved nature, wildlife and traveling and to meet new people. Owen may not be able to travel with me in person but he will definitely be with me in spirit.
