We provide specialist end-of-life care to over 1,200 people every year
Story
Hospices are amazing places for the terminally ill. I have been touched by my experience with and Leigh Hospice when they cared for my dad who sadly lost his battle to cancer very quickly back in May. They helped towards making a horrendous situation for both my dad and our family easier to deal with by the level of care and attention they provided.
When I walked into the hospice everyday I saw the poster for the to bike ride and told my dad I was going to do it.
I am not prepared and haven’t cycled for months so please help to make my ridiculously early start and sore bum worthwhile by sponsoring me.
Every little helps.
Thanks a million
Jo

We provide specialist end-of-life care, and a wide range of support services, to over 1,200 people who are living with a life-limiting illness in the Wigan Borough. Many patients are cared for in their own homes, although we also care for people living in care homes and in our In-Patient Unit.
