Story

We’re  raising money for St Christopher’s Hospice by walking/cycling from the hospice in Sydenham to Land's End (as the crow flies), whilst never leaving our local parks.  The event will take place over three days 27-29 May.

The team of 11 all work at St Christopher's charity shops - we are: Edna (Dulwich), Ingrid (West Wickham), Izabella (Lewisham), Jackie (Beckenham), Joanne (Beckenham), Jody (Addiscombe), Kate (Petts Wood), Lee (senior management!), Linda (Penge), Mirella (Biggin Hill) and Pete (Downham).

At  the moment all of St Christopher’s 26 charity shops are shut, and we’ve  had to cancel all our fundraising events and sponsored activities. This  means a huge shortfall in our fundraising income since the outbreak of Covid-19 – BUT, this is where you can come in!

If you can afford a donation, however big or small, please help the
hospice at this difficult time, while they look after hundreds of families who need special care. Just so you know, St Christopher’s Hospice is a charity, working in South East London. Around 1,200 people are looked after by the hospice every day, mostly in their own homes. This could be your neighbours, your friends, or your family. Please donate if you can, so that St Christopher’s can keep taking care of them.
