Memory Walk 2019
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help, to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

Those close to me know the battles I face day in day out. It’s horrid  disease. I was diagnosed over 3 years ago but determined to fight it to the end, or at least for as long as possible. I continue to take part in studies, drug trails... anything. But never a memory walk so here we go

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year, that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. So it's the most efficient way to raise money, saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Let's take on dementia together!

Once there was no hope for cancer sufferers, but now there’s hope, all because of studies, research, but this all costs money. Please help with whatever you can afford. Every penny counts. I know it won’t help me, but hopefully my children & grandchildren... and yours.
