On the 26th February 2017, life changed in an instant.
After hours of searching through the night i had to say goodbye to my oldest friend and the sister I never had.
It was a complete shock to everyone that this beautiful woman had felt life would be better without her, so much so she felt she had no other option but to take her own life in the most tragic way. If only she had known how wrong she was. I can speak for all those who loved her and say that it has left a big hole in our hearts that no one can fill.
Since her death, as a way of coping with the loss, along with my good friend Michelle, I started running!
Its been a big help in keeping positive and not slipping into the dark place that is depression.
I have been lucky enough to be offered a place in the London Marathon 2018 for Mind, a charity doing great work to remove the stigma around the hidden illness that is mental health.
I am doing this for Jay, I want to complete the marathon in Jays memory and help a great charity.
So please join me in raising money whilst remembering a truly beautiful person 💕
