I am running the half marathon in Glasgow for Ovarian Cancer. I picked this charity because Fiona, my big sister died of Ovarian cancer at the age of 41. It kills approx 4000 women a year. Many are diagnosed too late.  Hopefully in time they will find a way to prevent this disease and therefore prevent the deaths of many other young women in their prime.
