I want to raise money for Cancer Research in memory of a dear friend Anne Marie Jones, who passed away on 24th October 2013. Anne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer one month before I was in 2011. We both supported each other through a difficult year of treatment. Operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We both shared a zest for life and were determined to remain positive and happy throughout our treatment. We had some dark times but we were both determined to make each day count. We celebrated after our treatment finished and it was exciting to see our hair growing back and starting to get back to some kind of normality. Sadly though, the cancer came back for Annie, but she fought hard, remained positive thorough out, showed her strength of character in still keeping a smile on her face. I am very proud of her and do feel guilty that she has gone and I am ok; but as she said to me, 'I shouldn't worry, we are both on our own paths in life, I'm on mine and you're on yours, what will be, will be'. So I am going to walk a 200mile path in her memory, in the hope that she too will be proud of me. Jo Colley
