Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, helping me to raise money for Help for Heroes.
On the 26th June 2010 during Armed Forces weekend, I will be jumping out of a moving plane at 13,500 feet in the air, free falling through the air and landing safely on the ground with my tandem partner and parachute intact!
I am jumping as part of a 50 strong team of other fearless ladies and gentlemen (many of whom will be in fancy dress - I am going for traditional union jack style complete with face paint!) all with the aim to raise loads of cash for our Heroes!
So please sponsor me to raise as much as possible for Help for Heroes!
Help for Heroes is a truly worthy cause, a completely non political charity who’s soul aim is to get medial aid to our injured lads coming back from far off places. And because all their administration costs are funded every penny I raise will directly improve care for our soldiers.
Please help me by giving me your small change or any amount you feel...give up a treat for one week and give me the money for it instead...it will all make a difference to the wonderful work Help for Heroes are doing.
"It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes.
