As you all know my mum has Alzheimer’s and it is heartbreaking watching her get worse. I have now experience her forgetting my name and then who I was for the first time and  it was devastating. I am doing the walk in honour of her and to raise money to support much needed research into a cruel disease.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Not sure what I am thinking as I am not as well trained as I was last time but I will be walking 26miles on 29th January!!
