Story

Thankyou very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Aviemore Half Marathon on Sunday 18 October 2009 - my first (and probably my last!).  I'm training hard and adding swimming and tennis too.  I don't have a great time in mind - just the finish line........

I wanted to remember my later Godmother, Maureen Rodger who died earlier this year in June after a long battle with cancer. She was very supportive of me and always there for me throughout my life.  I miss her.

Laterly she received care at home from 'Crossroads'.  They supported Neil and enabled Maureen to be at home for so much longer.  This is a very worthwhile charity providing a service that so many people want; the chance to stay at home with their family.

Thank you for your donation, I know it will be appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
