Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been diagnosed with MS for 13 years.  I'm lucky enough to be still pretty intact but there are many people with MS out there who truly suffer.  The MS Therapy Centre in Nottingham is a self-funded charity who offer support through Oxygen Therapy, Physiotherapy and much more.  But they don't just stop at patients with MS, they also help people with Cancer, Stroke victims, Autism, Fibromyalgia and much more.

Swimming is my way of keeping fit.  I started with 7 lengths of the pool, I now swim 64!  I needed a challenge to keep me motivated and I couldn't think of any better than swimming for a great charity.  And so, I'm off to Lake Windermere, with my family as support, to do The Great North 1 mile swim.

I'd love to raise some cash for the MS Therapy Centre, they need to build a new Mezzanine Floor which is going to cost around £50,000 and it would be fantastic if I, with your help, could make a contribution however big or small towards this.

Thank you for reading this, and thank you for any support you can give.
