Cancer Research is a charity close to my heart as my mother, who is an inspiration, has battled with various plagues of cancer over the last 22 years and because, like so many other people, I have lost loved ones to the big C.

I became an ambassador for Cancer Research many years ago to help campaign and raise awareness about important political issues but now I want to help in a different way.I am running Race for Life this year in honour of anyone who has ever lost or experienced a loved one going through the ordeal of Cancer like I have.
