Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am, some would say foolishly, throwing myself off (abseiling down) The Congress Theatre, Eastbourne as part of The Eastbourne Rotary's fundraising day on April 6th.  All funds that I raise will be split equally between the Make-a-Wish Foundation and PeaceInsight.

Make-a-Wish is an organisation that enables terminally ill children to have a once in a lifetime experience and the chance to fulfill one of their wishes.

PeaceInsight is a peace education organisation for teenagers from Palestine and Israel. It offers the opportunity for young people from both sides to come to a residential summer camp in Sussex where they can learn how to deal with conflict, fear, prejudice and hatred.  PeaceInsight is non-political, and respects all religious, spiritual, and non-religious beliefs.  I have chosen to support this particular charity on behalf of the Academy of Creative Training (ACT).

I hope that you will feel that these are both deserving causes and that I can persuade you to give generously!  Anyone who knows me will be aware that I am genuinely fearful of heights and so this really is a big challenge for me - please help me to make it worth it!!

If you happen to be in the area on the afternoon of Sunday 6th April, please pop along and lend your support even if it's just to laugh at the sight of me freaking out on the edge!

Many thanks and lots of love
