Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We have decided to do a brave thing and signed ourselves up for a triathlon at the end of this year. Sara and Andrew are competing with a friend in a team and Joanna is completing the triathlon by herself.
Tri for life donate towards a few various charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Breakthrough Cancer Car, Whizz-Kids and Rays of Sunshine. Our goal is to raise £600 between is which is ver acheivable, but only with your help.
If we exceed the goal of £600 then we can give this money to other charities who are less recognised and closer to our hearts and this is what we are aiming to do.There is another charity - Action for A-T which is very close to our hearts.
Action for A-T was set up by Toby and Emily Read who are the parents of Evie Read who suffers from Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). A-T is rare, progressive and neurodegenerative disease that attacks different parts of the body which can cause multisystem disability and even premature death.
This charity is very close to our hearts, her parents are family friends and we all know Evie. Please if you have a spare moment, watch her story on their website (www.actionforat.org), it is extremly moving.
