Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was due to run my first live Half Marathon yesterday but work commitments meant I had to miss it. I set out for a run this morning and after a few km thought, sod it, I've trained for it, I'm doing it!!! So ran my 21.1km.
As I ran I thought about my journey, how 3 years ago I couldn't run at all and how running through lockdown has been my sanctuary.
Remembering it was mental health day yesterday and knowing how good running has been for my mental health... For balancing my stress levels, for clearing my mind and for building stamina, I can't think of a better charity to do this for.
So if you didn't get to sponsor me in April but meant to, if this charity resonates with you and you'd like to help, or if my impromptu run after a rollercoaster week and missed marathon has inspired you, please do share a few pennies.
And now I shall rest!
Thank you!
Jo
