Beads of Courage, brought to the UK by Be Child Cancer Aware, means children who are receiving cancer treatment at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where I work, can collect morale-boosting beads for every bit of their treatment - a bead for every night's stay in hospital, a bead for every scan, every thumb prick, every dose of chemo...  They collect an astonishing visual history of their treatment journey. 

I know there are many calls on your money, but please consider donating something to this cause, as I've seen for myself what a positive boost it provides to children undergoing a really arduous process.
