Most people who know me have heard me make vague promises year after year, regarding taking part in the great north run, well this year ive backed my self into a very real corner, with a sponsored place the pressure is on for me to prove to the world that my little legs can carry me 13 miles; with the added pressure of raising lots of money for breast cancer campaign.

Breast cancer campaigns mission is to beat breast cancer by funding research to understand how breast cancer develops, this knowlege leads to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.

  * Breast cancer accounts for 1 in 3 cancers in women

  * 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with breat cancer in her life

     time.

  * Every month in the uk 1000 women will die from breast

     cancer

TODAY  five year survival rates have improved and recent figures show that 80% of women diagnosed today with breast cancer will be alive in five years time.

This is due to knowlege - which is due to research - which is dependent on funding - which is dependent on all of us.

.... So this is were you my friends, family, colleagues and potential stalkers all come in!

The deal is i attempt to run 13 miles ( a huge quest as any of you from school PE classes will know!), and in return you give breast cancer campaign whatever you can afford.
