Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The first of our beautiful NCT babies to be born, in December 2009, was Josh, the leader of the pack, a boy with the biggest smile, a lover of odd socks and the sparkliest lights!

Josh, aka everyone's gorgeous Squash, was born with complex medical needs and a few years down the line he was diagnosed as having a rare neuro-developmental syndrome called FOX-G1.

Josh was born to truly wonderful, kind parents and human beings, Kate and Clive, and they gave Josh the best life possible, always advocating the best care for him. They are devastated to have lost him, aged 12, in May 2022.

Claire House provided invaluable practical and emotional support for Kate, Clive, Josh and his younger brother Seb, and helped them make some wonderful memories during Josh's life.

The hospice's support is also there for parents and siblings during and after the loss of a child.

I wish to help Kate and Clive raise money, in Josh's memory, for Claire House, so they can continue to help families in the future.

I've been training for the Manchester Marathon for a few months now, gradually working my way up from the half marathon distance. I think I'm doing ok, when it gets tough I have a little snack and think of Josh's amazing smile and our fabulous NCT family, and that's all the inspiration I need. 💕

Any sponsorship you can provide, would be so gratefully received, thank you.
