London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Dementia is a cruel disease that affects so many people including my grandad and great auntie. It leaves people confused and unable to recognise their family and friends. Often they don't enjoy hobbies, going out is worrying and so they sit trapped in a world they no longer understand.

I'm running my first half marathon since having Eliza and Benjamin.  It is definitely going to be a challenge but I'm going to try and enjoy the sights of London and get round. Any money you can donate will really inspire me to keep running.

Thanks for your support xx
