“Thursday’s Child to Gibraltar & back”
Friday 25th November
Wellow Literary Institute, Wellow.

A talk by  Robin (Bol) and Joanna Minchin sharing photos & stories of their year-long sailing adventure with Harry (9) and Isabelle (7) on
their Sadler 34 sailing boat.

Doors open 7pm. Talk starts 7.30pm.
Complimetary drinks and nibbles before and after.

Some of you may know but after they returned, Bol discovered
he had prostate cancer. St Mary's Hospital IW and Queen
Alexandra's Hospital in Portsmouth worked seamlessly
together and Bol was operated on in August. He was fortunate
enough to find the cancer early and the amazing Da Vinci
Robot was used for the surgery. As Bol now is cancer-free and
able to look forward once again, they would like to raise some
money for the Da Vinci Robot Appeal at QAH. Therefore the
evening is free but donations would be greatly received.
