Story
If you know me, you know that I cannot bypass the opportunity to wear fancy dress and what better way to support fancy dress for MS as part of the MS Awareness Week 2022 which runs from 25 April - 1 May. It's a chance for us to all raise awareness of multiple sclerosis and say #LetsTalkMS #MSWeekMS
I was diagnosed officially in November 2021 despite having had many hospitalisations for the last 12 years and symptoms for the last 20 years. The relapse I suffered last year has left me with permanent damage with lesions in both my brain and spine which have led to daily symptoms that I am learning to manage. I am currently undergoing disease modifying therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, talking therapy, electrotherapy, speech therapy and strength and resistance training to enable me to get to the best version of the new me.
I am immensely grateful to my husband, children, family, friends and the range of professionals I have supporting me through this journey.
Please help me raise a little bit of money to raise awareness and help find a cure for this chronic illness.
Thank you xxxxxx
