I am walking 25 miles in December in order to raise vital funds for Sands. With broken hearts, our beautiful daughter Lily MacPherson was born sleeping on 23rd November. Thanks to Sands, Alex and I were able to create amazing memories with Lily through use of their memory box. The momentos that Alex and I were able to bring home have provided us with a great deal of comfort and have ensured that Lily has left her precious little mark on this world.

I cannot thank Sands enough for all of their support and kindness. Alex and I want to raise money for Sands to allow them to continue to offer support to bereaved families. Their wonderful memory boxes cost them £20 and we want to ensure that other parents are able to create those treasured memories in such devastating circumstances.

I am hopeful that the winter walk challenge will motivate me to get up and put one foot in front of the other every day in December in the knowledge that I am fundraising for Sands.
