Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It has been 10 years since my mum, Deirdre Colledge, passed away on 22 November 2009. In honour of her memory, I am running in the 2020 London Marathon to raise money for charity. I am hoping that you might be able to support me and the great charity for which I am raising money - The Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.

The Princess Alice Hospice supported my mum and my family in the final years of her life. During my mum’s illness they offered so much for her, and they continued to support me even after she had passed away. All of the support that we had and that others still get is only possible because of the generous donations that are made each year to the charity.

The Princess Alice Hospice looks after more than 800 people in need at any given time and we know it costs nearly £10 million every year to offer care to families like mine. So your help would be very much appreciated!
