Last year I lost my mum to cancer, she was only 59 when she died.

Although there are many sad memories of her last few months, weeks & days, there were some lovely ones too! St Helena Hospice cared for my mum & us as a family during her last few weeks of life & I can never repay the generosity, kindness, love & support they offered with no questions asked! The Hospice staff & volunteers are amazing & wonderful people, who helped me remember some very magical, special last few days with mum by taking away the responsibility & giving me back the time we needed to be together.

Approximately, the care we received from the Hospice would have totalled £2,000. Money that we did not have at the time but money that I hope one day I can raise to help other families in the same situation. I can never thank the Hospice enough for what they did for us but I hope by raising money I can make sure they go on supporting & caring for others.
