My gorgeous wee sister has suffered from Myasthenia Gravis [Severe Muscle Weakening Disorder] since she was 18. It affects many things we take for granted such as breathing, eating and exercising and at some points in her life this has really limited her from her busy, active lifestyle. There is currently no cure, she has to take steroids to function normally and despite her extremely positive outlook, her condition also means that at times,  she has had weeks in hospital, and simple colds and bugs have floored her, as her immune system is weaker than most ..  yet she soldiers on! She's even climbed Mont Blanc to fly the Myasthenia Gravis Flag , what's 100 miles to work!

On the 25th of June Carys & I will begin "The 100 mile Commute Challenge".

Monday = running 10 miles to work & cycling 10 miles home
Tuesday = cycling 10 miles to work & running 10 miles home 
Wednesday = running 10 miles to work & cycling 10 miles home
Thursday = cycling 10 miles to work & running 10 miles home 
Friday = running 10 miles to work & cycling 10 miles home
