Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2021 · 11 September 2021 to 12 September 2021 ·

On September 11th 2021, a collection of REUK champions are entering the Blenheim Palace Triathlon as part of the Kensal Rise Triathlon Team. Please back their fundraising efforts in support of young refugees and their education.

Story

One afternoon in 2011, Refugee Education UK (then Refugee Support Network) was set up in response to the growing number of unaccompanied asylum seekers in the London borough of Brent. Ten years on, REUK has worked directly with over 550 young people across the UK. Through a combination of regular mentoring, wellbeing support, leadership opportunities and higher education advice, young refugees from over 45 countries are welcomed and encouraged to rebuild their lives here with hope and optimism. Many are here on their own and almost half are survivors of trafficking or torture. With a new name and a new refugee education centre on the horizon, REUK is entering a new chapter. They want to support as many young refugees as possible and are developing their research and advocacy work to bring about structural change for refugees in the UK. Please support their work and the young people they're working with. Thank you!
