Story
We are throwing ourselves off Liverpool Cathedral, albeit attached with a rope, for the Choir with No Name. Kate is CEO of Choir with No Name which means she has to have a very good excuse to say no, and as Jo has only just married Kate, she hasn't been worn down enough to say no either.
But, joking aside, we both believe passionately in what the Choir with No Name do. Singing is magical... or at least that's a good word to describe how it can make you feel. And Kate has had the very great pleasure to see the Choir with No Name Liverpool in action and what a difference it makes in the lives of the members.
The adrenaline will be pumping, but it'll be worth it to support this wonderful cause. Please donate to support us, and read more of what the Choir with No Name do below.
What we do is simple: our choirs meet once a week for a cuppa and a catch up, we then sing our hearts out for an hour and half, and sit down together afterwards for a hot meal cooked by volunteers. We perform regularly at wide variety of settings including world class concert halls, corporate events, community festivals and homeless hostels. Our choirs are a supportive, safe space for people going through a tough time to be among friends, where they can experience the joy of singing together, have fun, build confidence and skills, and feel more able to tackle life's other challenges, such as securing housing or finding work. Your support can help us continue to be a supportive community for some of the most isolated people in Liverpool.
