Over Easter weekend 2013 I am doing a 1 mile sponsored swim at Chelsea Pool.

I am doing this swim in honour of our father, Douglas. Dad was a wonderful, practical man who could do anything. It was so heart breaking to see that all go when he succumbed to dementia, and knowing we couldn’t do anything about it. He was the best dad in the world to Eileen and me, and I hope you can help us to honour him.
 
All the money raised will go to the Douglas Sheppard Tribute Fund. Your sponsorship will enable Alzheimer's Society to support others affected by dementia, and help to find a cure so that other families will not experience our distress.
