Story
I am almost 50 and have never climbed an actual mountain!! So as part of my 50th birthday celebrations I will be challenging myself to climb Mount Snowdon at night the highest peak in Wales!
A 3560ft climb by moonlight, head torches and fairy lights… I will be having my own little neon party and if you’d like to join me to see the Sunrise on Snowdon your very welcome!!
I know this isn’t a challenge to some but I’m a complete novice with a dodgy back and ankle so it’s quite daunting!! The kids at work have really inspired me they face challenges everyday but have that grit and determination to try and walk.
So my walking boots are out and have started training… (rocky music plays😂) I’m climbing in aid of Stick n Step a north west charity supporting children with cerebral palsy in the hope that my efforts to walk up Snowdon will help some children to stand tall or walk in the future…
Anything you can give no matter how small all helps to makes a big difference to the lives of our children and their families. Thanks in advance for all your support its very much appreciated!!💕💕💕
Stick 'n' Step support children and young people with cerebral palsy and their families across the northwest. Receiving no government funding, the charity provides totally free of charge conductive education sessions, allowing them to gain the skills they need to live more independent lives. It costs £5,500 to fund a child's place for a year so they rely on the generosity and enthusiasm of their supporters to enable them to keep delivering their services.
