Story
Thanks for visiting the Lavenham Charity Challenge team fundraising page.
In March 2010 Lance Corporal of Horse 'Jo' Woodgate of the Blues and Royals was killed while on his last patrol in Afghanistan. He was a popular young man both in his regiment and in Lavenham, the village where he lived.
With the kind premission of Lt Col Eyre, HCR, a football match has been arranged between soldiers of the Household Cavalry and Jo's friends from Lavenham on the 1st October, kick off at 3pm at the recreation ground Lavenham. It is also hoped that a Rugby match will played in the near future.
You can choose to donate to the Household Cavalry, the Royal British Legion or to both. All funds raised at the matches will be spilt between them both.
